Digital Product Consultant  ·  London

I help digital businesses grow —
by finding what’s holding them back.

I look at your product through the eyes of your customers, identify what’s costing you growth, and give you a clear plan to act on.

Work with me

What I do

How I help.

Seven years working inside digital products reaching tens of millions of users. Here is what I bring to smaller teams and early-stage businesses.

01

Early-stage product advisory

Before you build, you need clarity. I help founders define what they are actually solving, who it is for, and what the first version needs to do to validate the right assumptions. This is the work that prevents you from building something nobody wants.

02

Product and app audits

I audit your product the way a customer would — looking for what is confusing, what is missing, and what is costing you growth. You get a written report with specific, prioritised recommendations. Not a list of observations — a clear plan.

03

Onboarding review

Most products lose the majority of new users before they experience any value. I look at how people encounter your product for the first time, identify where they are dropping off and why, and tell you what needs to change.

04

Converting free users to paying customers

If people are using your product but not paying for it, something is getting in the way. I identify whether that is your pricing, your upgrade moment, or how your value is communicated — and show you how to address it.

05

Digital presence for non-digital businesses

Some businesses need a digital product that did not exist before — a website that captures leads, a booking flow that does not lose enquiries, or a simple app that handles what your team is currently doing manually. I help you define what needs to be built before anyone writes a line of code.

What this looks like in practice.

A few examples. Get in touch for a full walkthrough of any of these.

The situation

A platform with over 30 million users had a high-traffic search feature that free users could access without limit. The people using it were exactly the kind of users most likely to pay — but they had no reason to.

What I advised

I identified this surface as the highest-leverage point to introduce a paywall, designed the intervention around the moment users found what they were looking for, and defined clear success criteria across conversion, engagement, and retention before anything was built.

What changed

Conversion lifted. Existing subscriber behaviour stayed flat — no drop in engagement, no churn spike. A clean result that informed the next phase of the platform’s monetisation strategy.

The situation

An employee development SaaS platform was losing the majority of prospective users before they created an account. The team assumed it was a marketing problem. It was not.

What I advised

I audited the signup flow end to end and identified the specific friction points causing drop-off. The fix was not more marketing — it was removing the wrong questions, reordering steps, and communicating value at the moments people were closest to committing.

What changed

Signup completion improved by 400%. The team had been trying to solve a growth problem by spending more on acquisition. The real problem was losing people they had already reached.

The situation

A one-man business with a strong product and a confused digital presence. Visitors could not work out what to buy or why. Potential customers were dropping off before they engaged, and existing customer data was being lost to third-party tools.

What I advised

A full audit of the website, CRM, and service structure. My recommendation: redesign the service funnel from scratch. Free content to build trust, paid consultations to create a relationship, premium courses for in-depth value. Each tier feeding the next.

What changed

Annual revenue doubled. User activation rose by 20%. The business now owns all its customer data. The client’s own words: metrics improved across the board without an increase in ad spend or additional campaigns.

How it works

Simple process. No surprises.

Every engagement is different, but this is roughly how most of them go.

01

Free first call

We talk for 30 minutes. You explain what you are working on and what is not working. I will tell you whether I can help and what that engagement would look like.

02

I dig in

Depending on the scope, I will audit your product, review your setup, or work through your challenge with you. I ask a lot of questions and look at everything from the outside in — the way your customers do.

03

You get a clear plan

A specific set of recommendations, prioritised by impact, with a clear rationale for each. Something you can hand to a developer, take to your team, or act on yourself.

Working together

How engagements work.

Every engagement starts with a free call. From there I will scope what is right for your situation.

One-off

Product audit

A focused review of your product or digital setup, delivered as a written report with a debrief call. Best for founders who want a clear diagnosis and a concrete plan to take away.

Focused sessions

Advisory sessions

Working sessions on a specific challenge. Best when you have a clear question and need structured thinking to work through it. Can be one-off or a short series.

Ongoing

Monthly retainer

For founders who want a consistent thinking partner — someone to gut-check decisions, review work, and stay close to what is happening in the product. Two calls per month plus async support.

Every engagement starts with a free call. From there I will propose what makes sense for your situation.

About

Who I am and why it matters.

Anthony Chukwu, Digital Product Consultant

I’m Anthony — a digital product consultant with over seven years helping businesses grow through better products and sharper strategy.

I am currently a Growth Product Manager at Wordwall, a platform used by over 30 million people worldwide, where I am responsible for driving growth across onboarding, freemium-to-paid conversion, subscription retention, and pricing experimentation. In that role I have driven a 40%+ lift in conversion rates and contributed to over £10 million in year-on-year revenue growth. The work is methodical: find what is not working, understand why, test the right fix.

Alongside that, I take on a small number of consulting engagements for founders and small businesses who need that same rigour applied to their situation — without the overhead of a full-time hire.

I work with early-stage founders who are still figuring out what to build, and with businesses that have a live product but are not growing the way they expected. If you are not sure which category you are in, the first call will tell us.
